BURNING LAMPS
DISCIPLESHIP SCHOOL
Keep Your Lamps Burning
A discipleship school for people looking to enrich personal intimacy with God, walk in freedom, and experience the transforming power of Christian fellowship.
About the School
-
The school runs for 10 weeks and we will meet every Wednesday evening from 6-9 pm. During our meetings we will alternate between the Table and Prayer. Table nights are spent enjoying a meal together and discussion based teaching around the Gospel. Prayer nights begin with discipleship bands and end with a corporate prayer meeting.
-
As mentioned, we’ll begin every Prayer night with Discipleship Bands. This is a time where men and women will separate in order to pursue a time of consecration, confession, and prayer one to another. Adapted from John Wesley’s ‘Holiness Club,’ we have taken inspiration for discipleship bands from the Seedbed Library. You can learn more HERE.
-
We will be studying the Gospel from the Creation story, all the way to the Return of Jesus, with a curriculum called the Gospel Framework. Throughout the 10 weeks you expect to dive into topics like God’s original desire and design, Old vs. New Covenant, and Jesus’ role as Savior, Bridegroom, and Coming King!
-
The Gospel House is a family! Throughout the school, you can expect to be joined by previous students and friends of the ministry. It is important to us that students are able to share fellowship and hear insight from a plurality of perspectives!
-
This school is open to anyone who is hungry for more of Jesus.
We have designed this session to be accessible for those who are working full-time, college students, and anyone in between.
