A Gospel House Podcast

In 2023 we sensed the Lord calling us to start a podcast, but in light of the many podcasts available and our own insecurities… we held back. In the coming months, God continued to affirm this desire through a multitude of voices, even from people we didn’t know! So, we started Wheat and Honey, a space for believers to have open, honest conversations about following Jesus daily. We desire this podcast to be a strengthening voice in your marriage, parenting, job, and walk with the Lord.

We chose the name Wheat and Honey because of the rich symbolism of wheat representing the harvest of souls for Christ and honey being the healing agent for our bodies, hearts, and minds. As you listen to this podcast, we pray you would encounter Jesus and fall more in love with Him.

Our Story

In this episode, we delve into the meaning of Psalm 23. Cris explains how suffering can become a place of true intimacy with God when we seek Him first. When Jesus is Lord, our life circumstances no longer rule over us!

In 2019, Sol and Kali's daughter Ruby was diagnosed with neuroblastoma, a rare childhood cancer. Today she celebrates being cancer-free! This book captures Ruby's journey and their family's response amidst suffering. “ When the Lord told me to write the book, He specifically told me to write it in a way that the reader could sit down and read it in an hour.
