OUR STORY

Before the Gospel House was ever a ministry, it was a group of people seeking the Lord with everything. The heart of the Gospel House has always been to ignite whole-hearted praise unto Jesus, to create a place where He is welcome, where He can rest, and where He is loved. In our earliest days, we spent our time together in a basement worshiping Jesus, praying for each other, sharing meals, and learning to follow Jesus together.

From this place we have learned to simply wait, as the Holy Spirit comes to reveal Jesus, set hearts ablaze, save the lost, and bring freedom. Over the past few years, the Lord has established us as a parachurch ministry in Fort Wayne, Indiana and we have been serving the church in various ways. From city wide worship sets, regional gatherings, tent meetings, to more recent global partnerships to share the Gospel and see the Kingdom come.

We are a house of prayer, home for discipleship, and people on mission

Jesus said His house would be a house of prayer for all nations (Mark 11:17). We are committed to hosting spaces where all can come to pray and worship. More than a gathering, our heart is to see the church ignited in prayer!
Discipleship was the very essence of Jesus’ relationships here on earth. We desire to bring people along to learn from Jesus, praying together, sharing meals, and growing together. We primarily carry this out through our discipleship school - Burning Lamps.
We believe in spreading the Good News across the street and to the ends of the earth! We travel to churches locally and abroad to strengthen the Body of Christ. We carry this out by supporting ministry leaders with a heart of encouragement and fulfilling practical needs.
