MY HEART FOR MINISTRY

For many years the phrase from the Lord’s prayer, “on earth as it is in heaven,” has caught my attention. My desire and prayer for Fort Wayne (and the greater region) is for the Kingdom of heaven to come here – for this to be a place where we see Kingdom things happening because we have been with Him and we have been changed by time in His presence. As my heart burns for the Kingdom to come here, I feel called to the Church to encourage worshippers and musicians to know and embrace their identity in Christ, grow in their ability to lead worship, and cultivate a heart for discipleship.

For us to see the Kingdom come on earth, we first have to allow it to come alive in us as followers of Him and leaders in His Church. When we allow Him to transform us, we can focus on developing our gifts and walking in discipleship with others. Through ministry with Gospel House, Sons & Daughters Worship School, and campus ministries around the region I get the privilege of walking alongside young leaders in developing both their heart and hand in worship. My prayer is that we walk together in these things, that we will all be more equipped to lead meetings with God where we can see the Kingdom of heaven breaking into our homes, churches, communities, and cities!
